Our initial consultation fee is £250 which is payable at the time of booking your appointment.
Follow up fees are £180.
If you require any diagnostic tests eg x-rays, scans or nasendoscopy these will incur an extra charge.
If you have a medical problem related to the face and jaws that you feel should be covered by your medical insurance then you must talk to your insurance company prior to booking any appointments and obtain a pre-authorisation for your appointment.
You will still need to pay the initial consultation fee of £250 directly to The Face Surgeons Ltd, and then claim this (or the amount agreed by you insurer) back directly from them.
All of our surgeons are recognised as providers by all the major medical insurance companies (BUPA, BUPA International, AXA PPP, Aviva, WPA, Standard Life, Pruhealth Cigna, Saga, Medisure etc).
Many insurance policies now have an excess payment or cost-sharing scheme, which require you to pay part of the fees due. You should clarify this with your insurance company prior to commencing treatment.
Cosmetic surgery is usually privately funded, as private medical companies do not normally cover you for cosmetic surgery.
There is an initial consultation fee of £250, which should be paid at the time of booking your appointment. If you are having non-surgical treatments, this cost will be deducted when you pay for your treatments.
If you require further information regarding pricing and hospital schemes please contact our office that will be able to help you further.
Many patients without health insurance now opt to pay for their own medical treatment privately.
For the majority of procedures, assuming no medical complications, we will provide as accurate an estimate that we can prior to commencing any treatment.
For cosmetic surgery, most of the private hospitals will have a self-pay package for the commonest surgical procedures. Private hospitals usually require payment in full or a deposit at or before the time of treatment for self-funding patients.
The Face Surgeons are happy to provide a one-stop visit for the treatment of minor lumps and bumps. We are doing this because many medical insurance companies are now refusing to pay for minor procedures such as removal of unsightly moles or skin cysts even though they can lead to infections and problems.
If you would like to consider using this service we request that you contact us and we can advise you regarding both suitability and give you an estimated cost for you to be treated under local anesthetic in one visit. You would be required to complete a medical history form prior to your appointment.
The cost for any surgery is made up of a number of different fees:
Some hospitals will charge separately for any medications that are taken home.
Each hospital has its own fee scale for different procedures, because of this the same procedure done by the same surgeon may vary depending upon which hospital you choose to have your surgery.
Please note that we do not not store credit card details nor do we share customers details with any third parties.
